This Tuesday he marked a new chapter for Roquetas de Mar with the launch of his renewed tourism website, Robquetesturisme.cat. This complete redesign, which includes a fresh image and updated content, aims to provide visitors with all the necessary information to explore the municipality and its surroundings.
A project supported by local institutions
The Diputación de Tarragona has supported this effort, which now offers translations in 15 languages, including Catalan, Spanish, English, French, and others, which expands its accessibility to an international audience.

Mayor Ivan García has underlined the importance of this digital tool to position Roquetas as a top -level tourist destination. Garcia stressed that the promotion not only covers the natural beauty and traditions of the city, but also the scientific field, making special emphasis on the Ebro Observatory.

Sonia Andrade, Councilor for Tourism, described the new website as a dynamic platform, with an intuitive navigation that highlights the tourist wealth of the municipality. The structure of the site highlights the city, the green road and the port, in addition to including a section dedicated to the Ebro Observatory.

The page will also offer information about culture, festivities, trade, local accommodation and gastronomy options, becoming a living resource that will be continuously updated.
Launch of a shocking promotional campaign
During the event, a new promotional spot of Roquetas Tourism was presented, funded by the corner agreement of the Tourism Board of Les Terres de l’Ebre. This video, which includes spectacular images of the municipality, will be disseminated through various digital platforms and audiovisual media.
Additional actions to enhance tourism
This effort is complemented with other initiatives of the tourism area, such as the installation of new informative panels for motorhomes and the improvement of the lighting of the green road, which will soon be extended to the ràpita, connecting key natural areas.

Mayor García also presented figures that reflect the rise of tourism in Roquetas. More than 2,000 vehicles have used the motorhome area, with an average rating of 4.8 out of 5. In addition, the new parking has attracted more than 4,000 visitors, and the use of the green road has increased by 14% compared to the previous year.
Significant economic impact
This increase in tourism translates into an economic impact of approximately 40,000 euros per year for local businesses and restaurants, which highlights the relevance of investment in the tourism sector for the well -being of the Roquetera community.
