The Hunter’s Fair in Taradell
This weekend, Taradell will host the 29th edition of the Hunter’s Fair, an event that has become a benchmark for hunters across the country. This fair is the oldest in all of Spain and gathers hunters from all over.
The fair will start on Saturday at 6 am with the rabbit dog competitions in the Bagas de Gasala. This test will bring together 4 dogs that will have to demonstrate their skills in hunting rabbits. At the same time, in the plans of Mont-rodon, the test of sample dogs will be carried out on quails sown without death.
The Fair-Market
Sunday will be the turn of the Fair-Market, which will be spread over three areas of the municipality: El Pujoló, el Pavelló and Can Costa. This fair will offer a wide variety of activities and products related to the world of hunting. Visitors will be able to enjoy exhibitions of dogs, animals for repopulation, trailers, gastronomy, falconry, objects and accessories for dogs, tools for hunting, hunting simulators and virtual shooting, shooting gallery with carbine and archery.
In addition, the fair will feature a dog show and exhibit, as well as a taxidermy exhibit dedicated to America’s native and international wildlife.
Stock clearance fair ‘Duros a 4 Peles’
On Sunday morning, the 4th edition of the ‘Duros a 4 Peles’ stock clearance fair will also take place. This fair is an initiative of the Taradell Shopkeepers’ Association and will be located in Passeig del Pujoló, near the activities of the Hunter’s Fair.
This fair offers a great opportunity to get products at very competitive prices. Visitors will be able to find a wide variety of stock from different sectors, including clothing, footwear, accessories and more.
