A party known everywhere
The Aplec del Caragol is a gastronomic festival organized in the city of Lleida that has gained renown both at national and European level. This party, twinned with other similar celebrations, is open to everyone who wants to enjoy a weekend full of fun, good food and discovery of Lleida’s culture.

The FECOLL Federation
The organization of the Aplec del Caragol falls to the FECOLL Federation, which brings together the gangs participating in this party. FECOLL, founded on February 17, 1985, is a cultural and recreational organization that works permanently to ensure the smooth development of the Aplec and other activities related to Lleida’s gastronomy and culture.
The Federation is made up of a Board of Directors and has the support of the Council of Colleges and the Festivals Committee. This organizational structure allows the Aplec del Caragol to be a well-coordinated event with a wide variety of activities for all attendees.
The Fecoll restaurant
Inside the Aplec del Caragol, there is a very special gastronomic space: the Fecoll restaurant. This establishment, managed by Lleida native Lluís Ariño and his partner Lorena, offers homemade and traditional cuisine from Lleida, with snails as the star dish.

During the three days of the Gathering, approximately 15,000 kilos of snails and more than 80,000 liters of beer are consumed. These figures give an idea of the magnitude of this party and the enthusiasm it generates among the attendees.
