The 22nd edition of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants has been an event full of excitement and joy around the world. The ceremony, which took place in Las Vegas, has crowned the restaurant Diseño de Barcelona as the new best restaurant in the world. This recognition highlights the culinary excellence and creativity of the restaurant’s chefs.
The Spanish podium
Spain has left its mark in the ranking of the best restaurants in the world. In addition to Diseño, two other Spanish restaurants have stood out. In second place is Asador Etxebarri, located in Vizcaya. This Basque restaurant is known for its focus on grilling and the quality of its ingredients. In fourth place is DiverXO, led by renowned chef Dabiz Muñoz, in Madrid. These Spanish restaurants demonstrate the diversity and excellence of Spanish gastronomy.
