An unforgettable edition
Next Saturday, March 1st, the town of Torelló is preparing to live a new edition of the Carnival of Inland. With a scheduled start at 18:30 from the emblematic Plaza de la Sardana, this event promises to be a vibrant show.
Mass participation and innovations in the rua
On this occasion, a total of 25 floats will take part in the celebration, divided between 11 in category A, which are the most imposing, and 14 of the category B. This figure, which rises to 4,500 participants, marks a new record in the history of the Torellón Carnival.
Regulations for a more dynamic rua
In order to make the rua more agile, the organization, an event, has decided to limit the passage time ahead of the jury to a maximum of 10 minutes. The stopwatch will be activated when the first float enters Sant Miquel Street and will stop at the moment that the last has crossed a strategic pedestrian crossing.
Extra points and penalties
Gangs that respect the time will get a bonus of 100 points, which will be proportionally reduced if they exceed this limit.
Commitment to security
Following the incidents of the previous year, the organization reiterates the importance of the 0.0 rate of alcohol for drivers. Random controls will be carried out during the rua, as well as from early in the morning, including drug tests.
Two opportunities to impress the jury
Before the start of the rua, the floats will be evaluated twice by the jury: in the morning while preparing and before their departure from Plaça de la Sardana.

The weather forecast remains favorable for Saturday, with little risk of rain in Osona, although last Friday the inclement weather affected the event of the ladies and Homenots, who had to modify his program.

Spectators will enjoy the Rua live on the 9 TV, Premium.cat and the Network+, with the transmission starting at 19:30. In addition, there will be multiple reasons over the weekend, ensuring that no one will miss this spectacular event.
