Increase in reservoirs in the Ter-Llobregat system

The reservoirs of the Ter-Llobregat system, which supply water to Barcelona and the metropolitan area, as well as to Girona and its surroundings, continue to increase. Today, they are at 24.87%, an improvement of 0.30 percentage points compared to Monday, when they were at 24.57%. This information comes from the Catalan Water Agency (ACA), which has updated the data on the state of the reservoirs. Currently, the reservoirs of this system have a capacity of 152.23 cubic hectometres of water. Despite this increase, it should be noted that the current level of the Ter-Llobregat reservoirs is slightly lower than last year, when they were at 25.2% with 154.24 cubic hectometres.

Level of the reservoirs of the internal Catalan basins

The reservoirs of the internal Catalan basins have also experienced an increase. They are currently at 23.78% of capacity, compared to 23.5% on Monday. This means that the internal Catalan basins have a slightly higher water level. As for the individual reservoirs, Darnius Boadella is at 16.34% of its capacity, Sau at 13.44%, Susqueda at 26.44%, Baells at 37.71%, Llosa at Cavall at 24.04%, Sant Ponç at 32.48%, Foix at 65.27%, Siurana at 2.69% and Riudecanyes at 2.61%.

State of the reservoirs of the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation

The reservoirs of the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation, with a capacity greater than five cubic hectometres, are at 53.05%. This represents a total of 989.2 cubic hectometres of water (https://www.softcatala.org/resum-de-textos-en-catala/). Compared to last year, this level is significantly higher, since at that time they were at 35.8% with 667.4 cubic hectometres.
