The Minyons of Terrassa aspire to a historic record in castles

by PREMIUM.CAT

An ambitious goal for 2025

The Minyons de Terrassa have set out a monumental challenge: to be the first group to unload two basic castles of 9 in a single event during 2025. This ambition will be tested at the Egara headquarters, where the group, under the direction of Albert Pérez, seeks to consolidate a promising season with the festival scheduled for July 6, which is expected to be full of surprises.

Intense Competence in Reus

The same day, the Colla Vella dels Xiquets de Valls is preparing to improve their performance in Lleida, while other groups such as the Castellers de Sants and the Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls fit the last tests to aspire to pass the 3de8 barrier.

Heritage Day: a leap in history

With the aim of making history, the Minyons de Terrassa have organized, once again, the Heritage Day. After performing two successful performances with the 3de9 with lining and the 5de8, the gang believes that it is time to show the 4de9 with lining in the Plaza del Rector Homs. This novelty, along with the other castles, could become its best performance of the season.

Preparations for the Day

To warm up engines, the Minyons de Terrassa will make a pillar of 4 walking from the Plaza de la Creu to the church of Sant Pere, a 250 -meter route that last year could not be done due to the works of the Sant Pere bridge.

Other gangs in full action

The Castellers de Sabadell will visit Terrassa with the aim of consolidating the 3 and 4de8, while the Castellers de Sant Cugat will arrive with the premiere of the 4de8 recently made at their own square.

Reus: A new opportunity for the Old Colla

After the suspension of the Farmers’ Day for the death of Casteller Pau de Magrinyà, the Colla Vella dels Xiquets de Valls seeks to overcome the situation and offer a memorable show to the Pallol, with the aim of passing the records of Lleida.

The Ramon Barrufet Memorial: a challenge for the young gang

Within the framework of the Ramon Barrufet Memorial, the Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls aims to overcome the basic range of 8 with the 2de8 with lining, accompanied by 3 and 4de8, with the aspiration to finish the performance with the second pillar of 6.

A weekend full of activities

The weekend is charged with castellers activities, with numerous days scheduled in various locations. The Pallol Day in Reus, the Heritage Day in Terrassa and other events throughout the territory will be the ideal setting for these groups, which seek to leave their mark with their constructions.

Agenda of the weekend

On Saturday he will begin with the cradle in Sant Esteve del Monestir, followed by the Fontfreda Fest in Montcada i Reixac, among others. On Sunday, the XII Tibidabo Castellera Day and the North Colles Meeting in Platja d’Aro will be the highlight of a vibrant weekend.
