Starting next Saturday, April 6, lines L20 and L21 will be launched
Starting next Saturday, April 6, lines L20 and L21 will be launched, replacing lines L10 and L11. With this new service, the L21 line, until now L11, will extend its route to connect the city of Sant Feliu de Llobregat with l’Hospitalet, as far as Bellvitge Hospital. Previously, this route ended at Prat de Llobregat. This new service will also be active during weekends, holidays and weekdays in August.
The L20 line replaces the current L10 between El Prat de Llobregat and Sant Feliu
On the other hand, it will be this new L21 line that will cover the route between Sant Joan Despí and Sant Feliu, given that the new L20 line, which replaces the current L10 between El Prat de Llobregat and Sant Feliu (Regional Council), will end up at the Moisès Broggi Hospital, in Sant Joan Despí. As for the L20 line, it extends its timetable during weekdays, going from a frequency of 20 minutes to one of 15, and on Saturdays to a frequency of 20 minutes, instead of 30 as it was until now .
Improvements in the service of the X30 intercity bus line
At the same time, improvements have been implemented in the service of the X30 intercity bus line, which stops in the Mas Lluí area of Sant Just Desvern. From now on, the frequency of passage during weekdays (except August) will be 15 minutes, compared to the previous 20 minutes. In addition, to meet the times of greatest demand, articulated buses have been incorporated, thus increasing the capacity of the service and improving the user experience.
The new transport service is the result of a contract with the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona
This new service is due to the recent contract of the Metropolitan Bus of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona with all the municipalities that maintain metropolitan connections with Hospitalet de Llobregat and El Prat. Sant Feliu is among these metropolitan towns. The new service will be operated by the company Moventis, ending more than 43 years of management by Rosanbus. Initially, the service will be operated by 100 vehicles, of which 35 will be new (19 incorporated in the last 6 months and 16 from April 6). Even so, the contract provides for the acquisition of 43 more vehicles in order to renew and expand the fleet, which would arrive approximately at the end of next year.
