A call for world peace
In a new day, the Pope has renewed his appeal for peace in various corners of the world. This Wednesday, April 10, during the general audience, the Holy Father expressed his fervent desire for the resolution of the conflicts in Ukraine, the Holy Land and Myanmar. In a tone of deep concern, he underlined the unfortunate reality of a world in which wars continue to cause suffering.
Without forgetting other affected areas, such as Kazakhstan, recently hit by a serious flood, the Pope has urged the international community to direct its attention and prayers to those suffering the consequences of this natural catastrophe.

He has defined this virtue as the moral capacity that, in the face of adversity, maintains firmness and constancy in the search for good. With a touch of criticism of the world’s injustices, the Pope highlighted how strength enables us to face situations that distort the natural course of life, such as wars, violence, slavery and the oppression of the weakest . It has encouraged an attitude of staunch rejection of all this.
In his conclusion, the Pope expressed his desire that the joy of Christ’s resurrection inspire positive actions to improve the world.
