The PSC demands immediate actions for labor training in Terrassa

by PREMIUM.CAT

Pending commitments and urgent needs

The PSC has expressed concern with the Municipal Government of Terrassa, led by Mayor Jordi Ballart, due to the lack of compliance with an agreement signed with the Guild of Installers of Terrassa and the region, known as Greintec. This agreement provided for the transfer of a municipal space that would allow to develop professional training and recycling for its members.

The importance of vocational training

During a recent meeting with representatives of the socialist group, Greintec reported that the City Council has not fulfilled its commitments for the last eight years. This situation has prevented the growth and consolidation of entrepreneurs in the sector, as well as the reintegration of unemployed people in the labor market.

Delays in the signing of the agreement

Councilor Javier García addressed this matter in the last municipal plenary session, asking about the delay in signing the agreement. The Government said they are currently in negotiations with Greintec, but did not offer a clear calendar for their resolution. García urged Ballart to accelerate the procedures in order to facilitate the transfer of the necessary space.

Negative impact on vulnerable families

The Socialists have emphasized that the breach of this commitment can have serious consequences for families who depend on the services regulated by this agreement. The Installers Solidaris program offers small rates to guarantee access to basic supplies such as light, water and gas safely.

Concerns about the future

García has expressed his concern about the fact that the municipal government may be damaging both the users and the Public Treasury. He urged to address this situation urgently to avoid more damage to the community.

Acknowledgments and support to Greintec

García acknowledged the important social task that Greintec does in the city, thanking the services they provide. The PSC has expressed its support for the Demand of the Guild for a space dedicated to training, which would become a engine for the creation of jobs and business impulse.

A call to action

With all this, the Socialists have reiterated their request to the municipal government to speed up the necessary procedures for the signing of the agreement. The urgency of this action is clear: to guarantee the well -being of vulnerable families and to facilitate a more promising future for the Community of Terrassa.
