A few hours before the start of the XXVII Edition of Tortosa’s Renaissance Festival, the city is in a state of preparation for a unique event that mixes historical recreation and entertainment. With a program rich in various artistic manifestations and 87 shows and scheduled recreations, this event is destined to captivate both citizens and visitors.
Highlights of the Current Edition
This year’s edition focuses on the figure of Cristòfol Despuig, commemorating the 450th anniversary of his death. With the participation of 52 companies, 34 of which are local, this edition promises to offer an authentic experience full of history and emotion.

According to the councilor of the Renaissance Festival, Víctor Grau, the sale of tickets for the paid shows is proving to be a success, with more than 45% of tickets sold. Despite the success of the sales, remember that more than 70% of the shows are free of charge, and offers several recommendations for mobility during the days of the festival.
Logistics and Security
The City Council has taken several measures to ensure that the Renaissance Festival takes place safely and smoothly. Parking areas will be created, the police presence will be strengthened and a purple point will be available to offer specialized assistance during the night hours.
