A competition that marks a before and after
The Trophy April 15 of the Canonja has reached a new dimension, with the participation of the Russian cyclist Danil Veshnyakov, who has stood out in this ninth edition. The inclusion of this event in the Calendar of the International Cycling Union has raised its prestige, after being a regular test in the Spain Cup Cofidis Junior.
An end of infart
In an exciting outcome, Veshnyakov has surpassed the sprint Danil Svilovskii, his compatriot of the Baix Ebre cycling rock, and in Catalan Narcís Monturiol, of the KH-7 Cycling Team. All three runners have kept a joint escape for much of the competition, demonstrating a great strategy and endurance.
The key moments of the race
The trio of cyclists escaped from the main group around Riudecols, and, after passing the Teixeta pass, have maintained their advantage until the finish line. His skills to manage the forces were crucial, culminating in an exciting final that required a review of the Finish photo to determine the winner.
A demanding journey
The 170 participants have faced a route of 131.50 kilometers, passing through several municipalities such as Montbrió and El Morell. Only 124 cyclists have managed to complete the race, a reflection of the difficulty of the layout.
Prizes and recognitions
The Frenchman Noan Pedersoli, of the South Academy, has been the mountain champion, while Svilovskii has succeeded in special sprints. In addition, the Penya Cicloturista Ebre has dominated the team classification, followed by the KH-7 Cycling Team.
Internationalization of the event
The test was attended by several international teams, including the Belgian Team Tigerr Cycling and several French teams, thus showing their attraction beyond Spanish borders.
A promising future
With its new classification and growing interest, the April 15th Trophy is positioned as a key event in the cycling calendar, promising emotions and intense competition in the coming editions.
