An Event With Tradition
The Festa Major de Canyelles, one of the most anticipated events in the Nou Barris district, is fast approaching, with its 2024 edition scheduled from October 5 to 13. This celebration not only symbolizes the union of the neighborhood, but also highlights its rich community life.
Activities for All Tastes
Canyelles is preparing to host a wide range of activities, ranging from the traditional giants and tadpoles to varied musical performances. Residents will be able to enjoy Seville dances, dynamic gymnasiums, as well as tributes to iconic bands and concerts that will make the heart of the community vibrate.

The program is rich and diverse, with events that will spread across various spaces in the neighborhood, including streets, cultural centers and sports areas. Below, a preview of what we can experience during this festive week.
Agenda of Activities
Saturday, October 5
– 11 a.m.: Start of the party with a spectacular swimming pool.
– 12.30 p.m.: Planting of giants in Plaça Nova i Raval, with an exciting performance by the Barcelona Falcons, followed by a festive tour of the neighborhood.
– 6 p.m.: Sevillanas dance on the terrace of the Josep Maria Serra i Martí Park, organized by the old people’s home.
– 8pm-2am: DJ nights dedicated to hits from the 80s, 90s and 2000s.
Sunday, October 6
– 11.15 am: Chocolate for the little ones on the terrace of the Park.
– 12.30 pm: Ruta del quinto through Canyelles with a lively charanga.
– 8 p.m.: Havaneras and burnt rum, a tradition not to be missed.
Wednesday, October 9
– 4:30 p.m.: Table tennis tournament at Josep Maria Serra i Martí Park.
– 7.30 pm: Bingo at the Canyelles Residents’ Association.
Friday, October 11
– 4:30 p.m.: Gymnasium at Mercat de Canyelles.
– 7 pm: Concert by the Roquetes Symphony Orchestra.
– 9.30 pm: Tribute to El Canto del Loco with ‘Un sueño de locos’.
– 10.30 p.m.: Tribute to Hombres G.
Saturday, October 12
– 11 a.m.: Popular sausage for all.
– 12.30 pm: Tasting of food from different cultures.
– 8 pm: Canyelles Rock, with performances by local groups.
Sunday, October 13
– 12:00 p.m.: Rosary Mass.
– 1 p.m.: Line dance with Sevillanas.
– 2:30 p.m.: Popular paella for all attendees.
– 6 pm: Salsa dance to close the party with rhythm.
– 9 pm: Correfoc with the participation of Diables del barri Gòtic.
