A new initiative for the civic centers of Vic
Vic City Council has announced a new proposal for the city’s civic centers, with the aim of giving them a new boost and encouraging their use. This initiative consists of working in a network between the five civic centers and assigning a coordinator to each of them. This will allow better coordination and a more diverse and attractive program for citizens.
Extended opening hours and improved services
One of the most outstanding improvements of this new proposal is the extension of the opening hours of the civic centres. From September 29, the centers will be open from 17:30 to 22:30. In addition, these centers will also act as the City Council’s citizen attention points, offering services and support to residents. This will allow civic centers to be more accessible and serve as meeting spaces for the whole city.
Specialized workshops for all tastes
Within this new proposal, specialized workshops will be held in different areas in each civic center. This will include music workshops at the Santa Anna Civic Centre, dance workshops at the Serra-de-senferm Civic Centre, craft workshops at the Plaça d’Osona Civic Centre, nature workshops at the Guixa Civic Center and exhibitions at the Community Center. These workshops will be open to people of all ages and from the Osona region, and will have a symbolic price of 15 euros for a total of 15 hours.
Cultural activities and cyberathenaic service
In addition to the workshops, itinerant cultural activities will also be scheduled in one of the civic centers every Sunday afternoon, from November 2. This will allow citizens to enjoy different cultural proposals without having to travel far. In addition, the cyberathena service has been strengthened, offering residents a space where they can access the internet and carry out procedures online.
