A step forward for Vila-dry
The extraordinary plenary held by the City Council of Vila-seca this Monday afternoon has marked a decisive moment in the economic management of the municipality. With the aim of promoting local development, a budget modification was approved at 6.4 million euros.
Diverse political support
The decision was supported by the councilors of the Vila-seca Segura municipal groups and the Socialist Party of Catalonia, while the representatives of Vox, Vila-seca en Comú and Decidim Vila-seca voted against. This voting reflects the diversity of opinions on the management of public resources.
Details of the budget modification
Of the 6.4 million euros, 5 million will be assigned to strategic investments designed to improve municipal infrastructure and services. The remaining 1.4 million will go to social services, including subsidies for the improvement of buildings, school transport and other essential expenses.
Areas of action
According to the Councilor for Finance, Economics and Finance, Elisabet Torrademé, this modification will allow a series of actions that will affect education, social services, housing, culture and sport. Its approach highlights the financial strength of the City Council, which allows projects to be executed without compromising economic stability.
Highlights
Among the most significant investments are: one million euros for the remodeling of the municipal stadium, another million for reforms in the municipal pool, 850,000 euros for the creation of five canine parks and 500,000 euros for the project of the Calípolis Experial Center, partially funded by Next Generation Fund.
Improvement of public space
Other important games include 400,000 euros for the improvement of municipal buildings and facilities, as well as 150,000 euros for the rehabilitation of municipal roads. An investment of 130,000 euros for the promenade and 125,000 euros for the purchase of heritage is also planned.
