An autumn-winter full of activities
This morning, Vila-seca City Council has revealed an exciting cultural proposal for the 2024-2025 autumn-winter season, which will be launched on September 26. With the aim of revitalizing the cultural life of the municipality, the initiative, called ‘Cultura Vila-seca’, includes around sixty varied activities aimed at all sectors of the population.
Official presentation with local authorities
Mayor Pere Segura, accompanied by the Councilor for Culture, Manuela Moya, and the programmer of the Josep Carreras Auditorium, Josep Solórzano, shared the details of the program in a press conference. The initiative will extend until February, promising a calendar full of events that will enrich the cultural life of the city.
A program designed for everyone
Segura has highlighted that this program has been designed with the aim of nourishing the soul of Vila-seca. ‘We have carefully selected the events for all audiences, and we have already managed to get more than 15,000 people to enjoy the activities during the first half of the year,’ he commented.
Featured on the cultural agenda
Councilor Moya highlighted some of the most notable activities, which include cinema, concerts, theatre, family shows, exhibitions and outstanding events such as the FICVI and the Winter Fest. ‘The diversity of formats and styles ensures that there are options for everyone’, he added.
A castle with magic
Vila-seca Castle has become a point of attraction, with 75% occupancy during the last season. In addition to serving as a space for events, its heritage importance is also valued, attracting visitors from other places for cultural activities.
Charitable and vindictive events
The Josep Carreras Auditorium’s program includes the charity Gala with renowned jazz musician Paquito D’Rivera, as well as vindictive events. Beth joins the cause with a concert dedicated to the International Day for the Eradication of Violence against Women.
