A Tuesday with changes in the sky
Tuesday, December 3rd is expected to be marked by the arrival of one of the two cold fronts that will cross the region, albeit in a mild manner. The day promises to be predominantly sunny in the southern area of Barcelona, with some light clouds making an appearance in the afternoon.
Clouds and showers in the north
In contrast, the northern and northeastern areas of the metropolis will see a notable increase in cloud cover, which will bring intermittent showers. The temperature will remain cool, with the possibility of scattered drops in mid-afternoon in Barcelona.

Below are the hourly expectations for Tuesday in the Catalan capital:
– 6 am: Fresh morning, similar to the last one.
– 9 am: Radiant sun with some periods of clouds.
– 12 p.m.: Sunny weather, with increasing clouds towards Vallès and Maresme.
– 3 p.m.: More moderate highs.
– 6 p.m.: Partly cloudy sky, with the possibility of drops in Nou Barris or Sant Andreu.
– 9 p.m.: Possibility of showers at night.
Temperatures and conditions in the region
Maximum temperatures will not exceed 16 to 17 ºC. In addition, uncertain weather is expected in Vallès, Maresme, the Selva region and Baix Empordà, while Barcelona will enjoy a combination of sun and clouds without significant consequences.
Expectations for the rest of the week
The forecast indicates that it is in the early hours and morning of Wednesday that scattered showers can be expected in Barcelona and the surrounding areas. Temperatures could drop to 5ºC at the Fabra Observatory.
Cold fronts on the horizon
Although there is still time, weather models are already starting to show signs of a powerful cold air entry that could arrive between Sunday afternoon and the early hours of Monday, December 8 and 9. This mass of cold air could introduce a harsh winter environment in both Barcelona and the rest of Catalonia.
Before this cold wave, a slight increase in temperatures is expected from Thursday, with maximums that could exceed 19 and 20 ºC, and minimums between 10 and 14 ºC during Friday and Saturday.
