El Vívid closes its eleventh edition with 89% occupancy and 2,342 participants

El Vívid, the wine tourism festival on the Costa Brava, has ended its eleventh edition with great success. According to the organizers, the festival has achieved an occupancy of 89% and has had the participation of 2,342 people, consolidating itself as one of the most important events in the region.

This year, the Vívid stood out for its large influx of participants and the success of the programmed activities. With a total of sixty activities, forty of them have sold out, demonstrating the public’s interest in wine tourism and the festival’s proposals.

Activities with great attendance

One of the most popular activities at Vívid has been the ‘Breakfasts among vineyards’, which has achieved maximum occupancy and attendance. Nearly five hundred people have had the opportunity to enjoy these meals in spaces of great beauty, pairing the wines of the Ruta del Vi DO Empordà with the dishes of the chefs of the gastronomic collectives of La Cuina del Vent and the Premium Kitchen.catnet.

Another outstanding activity was the Mostra del Vi DO Empordà, which had the participation of 590 people. This edition highlighted the contribution of women in the Empordà wine sector, and highlighted the success of the ’10 women 10′ activity, which allowed an in-depth look at ten wines made by women Empordanese

Support and collaboration

Vívid has the support and participation of the Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board of the Girona Provincial Council, the Regulatory Council of the DO Empordà, wineries of the DO Empordà, town councils and tourist companies in the territory. In addition, the festival has the support of the hundred members who make up the marketing club of the DO Empordà Wine Route.
