A joint operation by the Mossos d’Esquadra and the Municipal Guard of Sant Hilari Sacalm has made it possible to dismantle a cannabis crop in the town
A successful operation
Last Monday, February 5, the Mossos d’Esquadra and the Municipal Guard of Sant Hilari Sacalm carried out a joint operation to dismantle a cannabis plantation on Hospital Street in this municipality of Les Guilleries. The operation was possible thanks to the cooperation of the citizens, who alerted the Municipal Guard about this illegal activity. During the surveillance of the area, the agents were able to observe the two alleged responsible for the cultivation leaving the ship and leaving with a van. The police stopped them and inside the vehicle they found bags full of cannabis plant stems
The infrastructure of the plantation
During the search of the ship, the officers discovered the infrastructure needed to maintain the plantation, such as electrical equipment and 120 pots with the remains of freshly cut plants, as well as 82 more pots with sand. In addition, the police confiscated 204 .9 grams of cannabis buds and 475 euros in cash
The arrested and the accusations
The two individuals, aged 24, have been arrested and accused of drug trafficking and electrical fraud. The two arrested have already been brought to court
