An unexpected competition
Miki Núñez and Marta Torné, known for being the presenters of the popular entertainment program ‘Eufòria’, have surprised everyone by facing off in a culinary duel in the new cooking competition of renowned chef Marc Ribas on TV3. ‘Cook as you can’ has been the stage where these two talents have demonstrated their culinary skills.
A surprise in the fridge
The duel between Miki and Marta has been full of surprises. When viewers discovered the contents of their refrigerators, it became clear that Marta had a wider selection of ingredients, including meat and vegetables of all kinds, while Miki only had yogurts and sausages.
A test full of challenges
In this competition, the two presenters had to improvise in front of the stove and face different culinary challenges. Marta has chosen an apparently more difficult recipe, preparing mussels that she had to clean before cooking. On the other hand, Miki has opted for minced pork.
During the test, it became clear that Miki does not have much experience in the kitchen, as he had some problems such as spilling the water when he boiled it. On the other hand, Marta has shown skill in preparing the ingredients, even though she had a small accident with some asparagus.
The verdicts of the jury
In the first test, the jury assessed the taste of the dishes, although the presentation was not entirely satisfactory. Marta has received criticism for her dish, which some have described as a kind of vomit, but the flavor has been excellent. In contrast, Miki’s dish has been considered unappealing and has even been compared to dog food.
In the second test, the participants had to cook a carbonara. Despite the difficulties, Marta managed to surprise the jury with a delicious carbonara. This has meant that she will face Joel Díaz in the first semi-final.
