Investment of 1.4 million euros in the Natural Environment
The redevelopment works around the Casa de l’Aigua de Trinitat Vella, in the district of Sant Andreu, will receive an investment of 1.4 million euros to maintain the natural environment and improve accessibility and children’s play area.
Recovery of the Reference Green Space
The project aims to recover a reference green space in the neighborhood, enhancing play and rest, respecting the heritage of the Casa de l’Aigua and maintaining the naturalness of the place with the existing trees, vegetation and topography .
Improved Accessibility and Connections
An esplanade will be established with a passable slope for pedestrians and occasional maintenance vehicles, creating routes with accessible and comfortable pavements. In addition, the staircase that connects the Jardins Aigües de Montcada with Avinguda Meridiana and the bus stop will be restored, improving connections in the area.
Meeting and Refreshment Space
It is expected that the new environments will become a meeting space, where play and rest will be enhanced, and the fountain will be recovered for times without an emergency due to drought, creating a refreshment and recreational space for the community.
