The plane broke up in mid-flight over the south of Minas Gerais
A tragic event took place last Sunday 28, when a small plane crashed in a rural area near the town of Itapeva, located in the south of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. 7 people lost their lives in the accident, including a minor.
According to Agència Brasil, the Civil Police of Minas Gerais reported that the adult victims were 4 men and 2 women, but did not reveal their identities pending the results of the investigations. The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) added that “the completion of the inquiries will be as short as possible, always depending on the complexity of each case.”
Two of the dead were founding partners of a credit company
Among the beautiful people were two of the founding partners of the company CredFranco, based in Belo Horizonte, the capital of the state of Minas Gerais. These are André Amaral and Maricilio Franco, as confirmed by the same company in a statement.
The company expressed its condolences for the loss of its collaborators and announced that it will be in mourning this Monday the 29th. “We will offer all the necessary support to family members and workers during this difficult period,” he said.
Witnesses saw the plane disintegrate in mid-air
The Minas Gerais Fire Department explained that residents of the area witnessed how the plane disintegrated in mid-flight while passing over the region. The wreckage of the aircraft fell in a wooded area, making rescue operations difficult.
