The PP mayor of Huelva and an intriguing event

In a political confluence made up of IU, Podemos and the Andalusian People’s Initiative, the spokesperson for La Izquierda de Huelva will question in the next plenary session an alleged event related to witchcraft carried out in the City Council itself. According to a publication in the local digital media La Mar de Onuba, it is reported that the mayor, Pilar Miranda (PP), had carried out a witchcraft ritual in municipal facilities and the funds used for this purpose will be investigated.

Investigating the unusual ritual

The political representative regrets having to bring this issue to the plenary session, since she considers it an esoteric practice inappropriate for a democracy in the 21st century. However, she believes that citizens have the right to know if public resources were used in this surprising act. We will seek to obtain more information about the aforementioned witchcraft ritual that took place on November 25, where salt was supposedly spread on the floor of the municipal facilities and rosemary was burned with the debatable objective of warding off bad energies.

El Sahumerio: a controversial ritual

This peculiar rite, known as Sahumerio, would have been carried out both in the plenary hall and in the mayor’s office. According to Rossi, this ritual is performed to cleanse and protect against negative energies. The act would have taken place during the evening, ensuring that there were no witnesses present, including security personnel.

An unusual event without a clear explanation

The municipal authorities of Huelva have avoided commenting on the matter and have sent the responses to the plenary session that will take place next Wednesday. So far, Mayor Pilar Miranda has not given any explanation on this matter, which has raised questions about who authorized this ritual, whether security measures were taken during the burning of rosemary, and whether public funds were used for its execution.

The surprising scene at City Hall

According to La Mar de Onuba, during the early hours of November 16, when the day was just beginning, municipal workers and cleaning staff arrived at the town hall. It was then that they encountered an unusual situation in the Plenary Hall and several offices, including that of Mayor Pilar Miranda. The ground was covered in salt and burnt rosemary. The cleaners had to unexpectedly resolve this situation, although the mayor’s team unsuccessfully requested a broom and dustpan to solve it.
