However, she believes that citizens have the right to know if public resources were used in this surprising act. El Sahumerio: a controversial ritual
This peculiar rite, known as Sahumerio, would have been carried out both in the plenary hall and in the mayor’s office. According to Rossi, this ritual is performed to cleanse and protect against negative energies. The act would have taken place during the evening, ensuring that there were no witnesses present, including security personnel.
An unusual event without a clear explanation
The municipal authorities of Huelva have avoided commenting on the matter and have sent the responses to the plenary session that will take place next Wednesday.
