Kike Calleja provokes Carmen Borrego with a derogatory nickname
Survivors 2024 has brought with it the resurgence of some conflicts that were pending in Sálvame. The most surprising occurred this Sunday on Conexión Honduras, where no one dared to mention the name of the missing Telecinco program.
It all started with the spread of the anger that Carmen Borrego suffered when Kike Calleja called her “pototi”, an affectionate way of saying “Potota”, which was the nickname that Kiko Hernández gave to Terelu Campos’ sister years ago. “Don’t go overboard with that. Are you serious? You know I don’t like those jokes, man (…) You tell me exactly what bothers me the most,” Carmen lamented. “And when Kiko told you that, you laughed,” Kike replied.
Anabel Pantoja avoids naming Sálvame when explaining the story
Later, in the studio, Anabel Pantoja intervened to clarify the details of this story, since she, as a collaborator of Sálvame that she was, knows it well. However, when doing so she omitted Sálvame’s name: “A long time ago, in the program where we worked, Carmen was given the nickname ‘potota’.” She then added: “What hurts me about Kike is that he took that crap out of her (…) knowing what your aunt went through on that program every time he messed with her.”
Thus, the current TardeAR collaborator preferred to say “the program where we worked” and “in that program” rather than Sálvame. One revealing detail that was added to another: the origin of the nickname ‘Potota’. Makoke told it: “Because when she was young, in Malaga, they called her ‘potota’.”
