ICO Girona is temporarily relocating part of the activity
The Catalan Institute of Oncology in Girona will temporarily move the oncohematological day hospital, the external clinical hematology consultations and a pharmacy consultation for the ambulatory dispensing of hematology treatments to Parc Martí i Julià de Salt, more specifically to the Republic Building module S3.
This change of location, which will come into operation on Monday 18 March, is due to the works being carried out in the current outbuildings and which will allow, once completed, to accommodate the new surgical block of the Josep Hospital Trueta de Girona and the expansion of the ICO Girona day hospital.
Attention to patients
ICO sources have highlighted that, in this new temporary location, patients will be treated by the same professional team. It is very important that patients who receive a summons to go for treatment and/or a medical visit to the ICO Girona check, either on the summons sheet or in the telephone message (SMS), which center they must go to to come
