A call for renewal
The general secretary of a political party, Marta Rovira, and the acting president of the Government, Pere Aragonès, have signed a manifesto that seeks a renewal of the party’s leadership. This call has been supported by more than 740 activists, including the Minister of Economy, Natàlia Mas Guix, and the president of the parliamentary group, Josep Maria Jové. The manifesto has been published at an opportune time, a month after the extraordinary executive that led to the temporary resignation of the party president and the general secretary. The text recognizes that the country has changed and highlights the need for deep reflection and fresh air in the party.
