A new actor on the Spanish political scene
The far-right in Spain has seen the emergence of a new figure who is gaining prominence as the European elections approach. Alvise Pérez, leader of the Se acabó la fiesta candidacy, has expressed his intention to become president of the Spanish government. In an interview with Pedro Baños on YouTube, Pérez has admitted that his candidacy for the European elections has as his main objective to gain visibility for the next general elections in Spain. He has stated that European politics seems insignificant to him and that he is running in the European Elections in order to have visibility in the face of General Elections to protect himself judicially and then fight for his country. In addition, he has harshly criticized Belgium, stating that it is a failed country with problems such as imported prostitution and unpleasant food, making it clear that he will not give up on Spain.

Luis Pérez Fernández, known as Alvise Pérez, is a political analyst and consultant who has worked for Citizens in the Valencian Parliament, where he served as parliamentary advisor and chief of staff of the Spanish formation. He has also been linked to UPyD, Unión Progreso y Democracia. However, he is better known for his content dissemination through the internet, specifically on X and Telegram. Now, he aspires to compete with the ultra-right Vox in the next election.
His fame grew from the dissemination of information against different politicians and for promoting demonstrations in front of the Socialist headquarters of Ferraz. Recently, he announced his candidacy for the European elections with the Se acabó la Fiesta party, which defines itself as “Squirrels and sympathizers”, and which, according to him, wants to “eliminate the political, media and judicial mafia”. Polls give him one or two deputies, with a vote estimate of between 2.9 and 3.8% according to Tezanos’ CIS.
