The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has expressed her opinion on the award to the Argentine president, Javier Milei, and has criticized independence.
Ayuso defends the relationship with Milei
President Ayuso has justified the award to Milei by stating that she has not seen the president of Argentina insult Spain or the King, but she has seen half of the Spanish government do it. He also mentioned the Catalan embassies which are financed with the money of all Spaniards.
Ayuso criticizes the amnesty and the Spanish government
During the event, Ayuso questioned whether the Spanish government wants to erase 12 years of crimes from those who embezzled, stole and disobeyed the will of the people of Catalonia. He has also accused the government of Pedro Sánchez of being disloyal for allowing the opening of Catalan embassies around the world.
