The new official coach
FC Barcelona is already immersed in the task of planning the next season. After dismissing Xavi Hernández and betting on the option of Hansi Flick, which will be officially announced in the coming days, both Joan Laporta and Deco are already working to provide the German coach with the best possible squad.
Reinforcements needed
To be able to compete for everything, Barça will have to strengthen several positions that during the past season have not been at the necessary level. Before thinking about signings, however, they will have to get rid of the players who are not part of the plans of the technical secretariat, in order to reduce the wage bill and enter money for possible new additions.
Ferran Torres on the transferable list
One of the players who seems to have a foot and a half outside the club is Ferran Torres. After a disappointing season, the Valencian attacker will not have a place in the attack that Flick wants to create. According to the digital portal Todofichajes, Barça is willing to listen to offers for Torres, with a market value of around 35 million euros. A number of Premier League teams are expected to try to sign him in the coming months.
Changes to the front
In addition to Torres’ situation, there are other planned moves in the Barça forward. Only Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha are guaranteed their continuity. Vitor Roque, who did not have many opportunities with Xavi Hernández, could leave on loan. As for Joao Félix, his future is unknown. Although the club initially wanted to part with his services, Flick’s arrival could change things. In summary, many changes are expected in the Barcelona squad, especially in the forward line.
