Start of Registrations
Registration for the next school year 2024-2025 of the 2nd cycle of infant and primary education begins today. Pre-registration for ESO will start on Friday. All requests will be made electronically through the website of the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The deadline for registrations will end on Wednesday, March 20.
Support for Families
Families who have doubts or difficulties can go to the center they have chosen as their first option, by appointment, or to the Municipal Education Office (OME).
Educative offer
For the next academic year 2024-2025 in Sant Feliu, 16 lines of children’s and primary education are offered, one less than in the previous academic year. Of these 16 lines, 9 are in public centers and 7 in concerted centers. With a register of 328 children born in 2021, the current supply of 355 represents a surplus of 27 places compared to demand.
Reduction of Groups
In the public sector, Escola Nadal will not offer the second group, and other public schools such as Escola Miquel Martí i Pol and Escola Salvador Espriu will only have an infant and primary education line. This initial offer may vary once registration closes.
Concerted schools
Charter schools maintain the same offer as the previous year, with all of them offering two lines, except for Mestral, which initially only has one group for children and primary education.
Ratios and Offer to Institutes
The Councilor for Education, Ana Cubet, has announced a drop in ratios in the infant and primary education groups to 19 children, one less than in the previous year. Public high schools also offer one less group for the next school year 2024-2025.
Attention to Students with Educational Needs
Places are reserved for students with special (SEN-A) and specific (SEN-B) educational needs. A form has been opened to improve the pre-registration of children with specific educational needs.
