A Solidarity Party for Inclusion
The Santfeliuenc CF men’s first team is preparing for a special event this Wednesday 27 at 7 p.m. On this occasion, he will face the winning team of the last edition of the Kings League, the X-Buyer Team, in a solidarity match. The aim of this day is to raise funds to continue subsidizing the team of people with functional diversity at Santfeliuenc CF, known as “Santfe Ilusión”.
An Inclusive and Ambitious Project
About a year ago, Santfeliuenc CF launched its inclusive mixed team “Santfe Ilusión”. After its participation in the “We League” League and the support of players from Sant Feliu and its surroundings, the sports club considers the continuity of this project crucial. Thus, the winning team of the 2023 summer edition of the Kings League, X-Buyer Team, will visit the field of Les Grasses to play a 7-a-side game against the first men’s team of Santfeliuenc CF.
Support and Commitment
Jesús Manuel Gil, treasurer of Santfeliuenc CF, has highlighted that the team currently has 14 players with cards to play, but that there is a growing interest in joining them. The club does not rule out the possibility of opening a second team for next season. The “Santfe Ilusión” project is fully subsidized by Santfeliuenc CF, covering expenses such as refereeing, travel and team registration.
A Sports and Solidarity Date
The Les Grasses Municipal Field will be the setting for this sporting and solidarity event at 7 p.m. The event will include the dynamism and animation of the Sant Feliuen speaker of the first men’s team and collaborator of Ràdio Sant Feliu, Iker Gil. During the match, several raffles will be held, including Addidas brand boots and a Puma ball signed by all the players on the X-Buyer Team.
