The Sagrada Família will make available to citizens up to 8,500 free tickets to visit the basilica on the occasion of the celebration of Santa Eulàlia, patron saint of the Catalan capital.
The open door visits
They will take place during the weekend of February 12 and 13, between three and six in the afternoon. Before that, however, all interested people will have to participate in a draw using a form on the website of the basilica itself.
Deadline to participate in the ticket draw
The period to do so began on January 29 and will end on February 4 at 9 p.m. The draw will take place that same night and on Monday 5 February the list of winners will be published on the website of the Sagrada Família.
For those people who do not benefit from this promotion and want to visit the temple for free, every September during the festivities of the Mercè, the other patron saint of the city, the Sagrada Família offers open days.
What can you see at the open doors of the Sagrada Familia?
Those selected for the open house will have the opportunity to visit the interior of the basilica, the museum and the schools. In addition, as a novelty, they will also be able to access the museum’s new immersive room, inaugurated last December.
Since last September, it is also possible to participate in an augmented reality experience through the Sagrada Família application, where you can explore spaces that are not normally accessible to visitors, such as the cymaci garden, the roofs and the interior from the tower of the Virgin Mary.
