Concentration and Claims
This Thursday, February 22, in the morning, a group of farmers, members of the Plataforma Pagesa del Solsonès, gathered in front of the Solsona DARP office to express their claims in defense of farming.
With a dozen tractors and several vehicles, the concentrated have arrived to deliver a manifesto summarizing their concerns and demands.
Outstanding Claims
The manifesto includes 14 demanding points, highlighting the need for more flexibility in the new CAP, administrative simplification, decent prices for products, real measures for the drought, among other relevant demands for the primary sector.
Delivery of the Manifesto
Five representatives of the Platform have delivered the manifesto to the DARP offices, attended by the Head of the regional office, Elisabet Brualla, and the Director of Territorial Services in Central Catalonia, Manel Armengol, who have assessed the various requests.
