The Popular Party demands the resignation of Francina Armengol
The PP has presented a request to the Congress of Deputies asking for the immediate resignation of the president of the chamber, Francina Armengol. According to the popular spokesman, Miguel Tellado, this resignation is necessary to guarantee democratic hygiene, due to his involvement in the Koldo case. Tellado has stated that Armengol cannot continue in office after paying for useless masks and using the money of the citizens of the Balearic Islands to finance the Ferraris of those involved in the plot
The PP does not rule out a commission of inquiry
The Popular Party does not rule out asking Armengol to appear before the commission of inquiry they are preparing in the Senate, where they have an absolute majority. According to the popular spokesperson, there are many unanswered questions and Armengol’s silence only increases suspicions. The PP considers that the Spanish government is in disarray and in panic due to the consequences of the Koldo case, and believes that Armengol is not a victim but an alleged necessary collaborator
