His professional career, his tastes and his causes

Telma Ortiz Rocasolano was born on December 28, 1973 in Oviedo, the second daughter of Jesús Ortiz Álvarez and Paloma Rocasolano (Queen Letizia is the eldest of the three sisters, while the youngest, Érika, sadly died in 2007).

Telma Ortiz grew up in a family that, although no stranger to the media, was far from the permanent focus of real life. She graduated in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid, and has developed her professional career in various fields, from the legal field to journalism, always showing a strong involvement with humanitarian and social issues. Her work in various non-governmental organizations, such as the Vicente Ferrer Foundation, demonstrates this; she and she currently works at the NGO Concordia.

Over the years, his love for art and photography has become known. In fact, his passion for creativity has been reflected in personal projects, highlighting his interest in artistic and visual expression.

Telma Ortiz and her jealous private life

Always very cautious about her private life, she is the mother of two daughters: Amanda, the result of her relationship with the lawyer Enrique Martín Llop; and another girl, two years old, born from her courtship with Robert Gavin Bonnar, an Irish lawyer famous for being the ex-husband of Sharon Corr, violinist of The Corrs. Gavin was married to the artist for eighteen years and they have two children together.

Queen Letizia’s sister has always preferred to be very discreet with respect to her private life and that is one of the reasons why it was very difficult for us to know the name of her second daughter, Erin. The same thing happens with her relationship with Robert Gavin Bonnar, about which we know very little since they have also been few times in public since they began their romance in 2018.

In fact, the first time we saw the couple attending a public event was at the 2019 Princess of Asturias Awards, at the Campoamor Theater in Oviedo, to listen to the first speech that their niece, Princess Leonor, would give.

In 2023, the Queen’s sister turned 50 and, of course, celebrated in the most complete privacy. Would her sister, King Felipe VI, and her nieces, Leonor and Sofía, be with her?
