The Bizkaia Foreign Treasury has decided to take a step forward in their relationship with the taxpayers, with the aim of improving care and communication. In the next campaign of the 2025 income statement, calls that have not been answered will be returned, a measure that promises to transform the experience of citizens into their interaction with the administration.
An innovative call refund system
In an effort to ensure that no one is unanswered, the Treasury will launch a new system that will allow you to return the calls not treated during the tax campaign. The Deputy of Finance and Finance, Itxaso Berrojalbiz, emphasized that this approach seeks to ensure that all citizens receive the attention they deserve, even if it is not possible to respond immediately.
Motivations behind the initiative
The decision to return the calls is based on the need to increase the quality of the taxpayer service. In previous years, complaints about lack of communication have been common, due to an excessive volume of calls that made it difficult for effective care. This new measure aims to minimize the frustration of taxpayers and accelerate the resolution of their concerns.
Dedicated team for effective telephone service
To implement this innovative measure, the Treasury will allocate a team of 200 professionals exclusively in charge of the telephone service during the campaign. This extension of the team will allow you to attend a greater number of calls and ensure that the returns are made quickly and efficiently.
Prominent changes in the 2025 income campaign
In addition to calling, the 2025 income campaign will introduce other significant developments. Taxpayers who wish to receive returns of more than 300 euros must present their statement expressly, with the exception of the over 65 and those with returns under this amount.
Flexibility and adaptability for taxpayers
Taxpayers will also have the option to modify their initial statement within 24 hours, ensuring that the returns are made within a maximum of seven days. In addition, they will be able to choose to change the type of taxation between individually and together, adapting better to their personal needs.
Improvements in the statement for more accurate information
In order to facilitate the management of rent income, new additional fields will be incorporated into the Declaration. This initiative aims to improve information on tensioned areas and promote more effective housing policies.
