New tourist approach in Cambrils

The Cambrils Tourist Board has launched an innovative project that incorporates eight healthy tourism routes, designed to encourage exploration of the most beautiful corners of the municipality. Under the name ‘Camina Cambrils’, these routes are accessible and vary between 3.5 and 11.5 kilometers, offering a perfect combination of nature, culture and heritage.

A project that unites tourists and locals

Camí Mendoza, the Councilor for Tourism, together with Vadim Koryagin, director of the Board, have highlighted that this initiative seeks to redirect the attention of visitors from the coast towards the interior of Cambrils, thus enriching the tourist experience. Mendoza has pointed out that “this proposal aims to be an invitation for both tourists and residents, to discover both the urban planning and the natural spaces that make up the diversity of the municipality.”

Accessibility and information at your fingertips

In order to facilitate the experience, the route signage will be complemented by a web portal that will offer detailed information in four languages, as well as the possibility of downloading the tracks for GPS or smartphones. This platform will be available from Easter, along with an information brochure that can be collected from the Board of Trustees.

Exploring circular itineraries and coastal routes

The project includes six circular routes with strategic start and end points, as well as two coastal routes that do not have fixed signage. Visitors will be able to discover itineraries that range from the eastern area to the ancient Via Augusta, as well as routes that cross the old town and other points of interest such as the market and the winery.

Proposals for everyone

In addition to the ‘Camina Cambrils’ routes, the Tourist Board has also implemented alternative activities, such as bicycle routes, which complement the offer of leisure and sports activities for both tourists and residents. These initiatives seek to promote an active and healthy lifestyle among the community.

Promising future for Cambrils

With the addition of new routes and the future greenway, the Cambrils Tourist Board plans to continue expanding the options for exploring the town. This dynamic and inclusive approach will not only enrich the visitor experience, but also strengthen the sense of community among its residents.
