The Ganapies of the Autonomous University of Barcelona have organized an unprecedented event this Thursday, gathering almost all the university castellers groups in a macrodeda to celebrate three decades of history. The Bellaterra Campus Academy Square will become the meeting point for this great party, which will include four rounds of castles with the aim of achieving three constructions.
Rounds and challenges: an ambitious program
The format of the day proposes that the castles rise from 3de7, with the possibility of performing alone or in groups. In addition, a final round will offer the opportunity to show pillars of merit. The Ganapies have set an innovative challenge, trying to lift a 2de7 and a 6 pillar with lining simultaneously. The collected from the university area have been prepared to make an impressive entry, with options that include the 4de7 with a needle and the 2de7 with lining. Although they have rehearsed a 7de7, the latter has been ruled out for this occasion. The brigs of the Terrassa campus, meanwhile, have set out to release a 3de7, a 4de7 and a 2de7 with lining, with a spectacular farewell through a pillar of 5.
Basic castles and creative alternatives
The Patquers of the Rovira i Virgili University will follow a similar line with the 3de7, the 2de7 with lining and a 7de6, in addition to their pillar of 6.
