A party for all
This year, the neighborhood of the North Zone is preparing to celebrate the 44th edition of the Festa dels Barris. The Association of Residents of this Alcoy neighborhood has organized a complete program with activities for all tastes and ages.
A wide variety of acts
The events of the party will start on the 15th of June and will last until the 23rd. During this week, there will be a wide variety of activities to enjoy with family and friends. From concerts and shows to sports competitions and workshops, there is something for everyone.
Program highlights
Boxa Vetlada
The party will start with an exciting evening of boxing in the Amando Blanquer Auditorium. It will be a unique opportunity to witness great fights and encourage local boxers. Tickets will be available via whatsapp or at the gym.
Petanque Championship
The following day, a petanque championship will be held in Al-Azraq Square. It will be an exciting competition where participants will demonstrate their skills in this popular sport.
Performance show
La Casa d’Andalusia will offer a performance show at the Amando Blanquer Auditorium. It will be an opportunity to enjoy music, dance and other forms of artistic expression.
Literary round table
There will be a literary round table with the participation of different authors from the city. It will be an opportunity to learn about his works and hear about his experiences in the world of literature.
School performances
The students of the schools in the area, such as the CEIP Miguel Hernández, the José Arnauda School, the Slaves School and the Salesians Joan XXIII School, will perform a series of performances in the Auditorium. It will be an opportunity to see the talent of young local artists.
Dust and spike concert
The students of the Aprenguem Junts workshop will offer a concert of pols and pua. It will be an opportunity to enjoy traditional music and discover new talents in this musical style.
Evening dance
An evening of dance will be held with the performances of several dance academies in the area. It will be an opportunity to dance and have fun with different dance styles.
Laughter therapy workshop
Before the big days of the festivities, a laughter therapy workshop will be held. It will be an opportunity to laugh and relax in a fun and cozy atmosphere.
Plantain of the bonfire
On Friday, June 21, the traditional plantà de la foguera will be held. It will be an exciting time to watch the impressive wood and cardboard constructions take shape.
Concentration of costumes
In the evening, there will be a concentration of costumes in the Caramanchel park. It will be an opportunity to show creativity and originality with the best costumes.
Youth activities
On Saturday 22 June, there will be activities specially designed for young people. Board games, popular games and other fun activities await participants.
Cabasset dinner and parade
The last day of the festivities, June 23, will close with a cabasset dinner at the Association’s premises. After dinner, there will be a torchlight parade that will go to the bonfire. It will be a magical time to say goodbye to the party until next year.
