The borders of Ramio have emerged throughout 2024 as a true oasis that not only embraces natural beauty, but also celebrates cultural heritage and sustainability. This town has captivated both residents and visitors thanks to its varied offer of activities designed by the Comú de Escaldes-Engordany.
A loosen visitors and cultural diversity
With a total of 1,500 people who explored Ramio this year, most of them are Andorran residents. Spanish, German and French visitors have brought rich cultural diversity to the site. Surprisingly, a high percentage, 87%of these visitors are adults who preferred to enjoy activities during the day, looking for a quiet and unique experience.
Enriching activities for young people and adults
Among the most important proposals of 2024, the active holidays have been aimed at young people between the ages of 14 and 17. These initiatives have not only fostered learning on local nature and culture, but also promoted practical skills such as the restoration of dry stone walls and the preservation of native flora and fauna.
Immersive experiences and creative workshops
The participants had the opportunity to participate in a yoga retreat, as well as in workshops dedicated to the primitive fire, which have enriched their understanding of sustainability and respect for the environment. This immersive approach has allowed all attendees to deeply connect with their environment.
The Run’s Party: An unforgettable family event
The annual Ramio party has established itself as an indispensable date for families, offering a space to share leisure and learning moments in a lush natural environment. In addition, coexistence activities have fostered a community atmosphere and have strengthened the image of ram as an ideal place to disconnect from the daily routine.
Looking to the future: Plans for 2025
With the positive results of this year, the Escaldes-Engordany commune is preparing a new program of activities for 2025. The aim is to continue promoting awareness of nature, the preservation of cultural heritage and social cohesion, Ensuring that Ramio continues to be a place of inspiration and a refuge for all.
