Torredembarra and its castle legend

After the intense day spent in Torredembarra, lovers of castles can prepare for a spectacular weekend at the Tarraco Arena Plaça. The Castle Competition, which began with great success, continues with an event that promises excitement and competition between the best gangs of the moment.

A Saturday of great intensity

This Saturday, starting at 4:30 p.m., eighteen teams will gather with the aim of achieving the best results of the season. Unlike the previous year, marked by health restrictions, most of the gangs have confirmed their participation with large castles, with at least 2 out of 7.

The return of the favorites

Castellers de la Vila de Gràcia, winners two years ago with their spectacular tower of 8 with lining, are preparing to defend their title again. With a repertoire that includes the 7de8 and the premiere of the lined 8 tower, those in the navy blue shirt are undoubtedly the big favourites.

Gangs with aspirations

While Castellers de Gràcia are looking for victory, other teams such as Castellers de Lleida and Sant Cugat have also been preparing intensively. With the aim of repeating the 7 out of 8, these groups will face a challenge that is not at all easy, especially after their last performance at the Fira de Sant Miquel.

Challenges and objectives

The Castellers de Sabadell, for their part, hope to plant the tower of 7, as well as the 4 of 8 and the 3 of 8. While the Sagals of Osona and the Xicots of Vilafranca are also looking to unload their most ambitious castles, expectations are high for all.

A great show at TAP

Saturday at the Tarraco Arena Plaça promises to be a vibrant show. With gangs running up to five rounds, the three best builds will be judged to determine the winner. The performances will be organized in cycles, adding a new dimension to the competition that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Debutant gangs and new surprises

In addition, new gangs such as the Castellers de Mollet, who will make their first appearance in the competition, will not be left behind. With a potential to surprise, his performance will be one of the highlights of the day.

The spirit of competition

With the spirit of competition on the rise, the gangs prepare their best castles, proving once again that the castle tradition is still alive and well present. The diversity of castles that will be seen at the TAP is a sample of the evolution and creativity of this art.

Expectations and looks to the future

With their eyes on the goals, the castellers hope that this weekend will be a memorable moment, both for them and for the spectators. Illusion and determination are present in every essay, preparing the way for a promising future in castellan culture.
