A Forum for Reflection and Action
On the weekend of November 16 and 17, La Seu d’Urgell will host the third edition of the Upper Pyrenees and Aran Natural Environment Conservation Days. This year, the central theme revolves around the interconnection between human health and the preservation of the environment.

A Message of Awareness
David Servat, first deputy mayor, has emphasized that these days not only inform, but also seek to sensitize the community about the need to live in harmony with the nature that surrounds us.
Health in the Conservation Center
David Manzanera, director of the conference, explained that the main objective is to demonstrate how environmental conservation has a direct impact on people’s well-being and health. Disconnection with nature can be a trigger for various physical and mental illnesses.
Climate Change and Health
Manzanera pointed out that the climate crisis not only affects ecosystems, but also has an impact on public health. There is a growing number of studies showing that preserving nature is essential to ensuring human well-being.
Conferences and Dynamic Activities
The opening day will feature the participation of José Luís Gallego, a renowned naturalist and environmental journalist, who will offer a conference that promises to be inspiring.
Round Tables and Activities
The program includes several round tables, where experts such as Mireia Vilaseca and Joan Morales will address topics about environmental awareness and health related to nature. In addition, there will be guided excursions to delve deeper into these topics.
Nature Fair: A Space of Knowledge
At the same time, the Nature Fair will be held at the same time, extending the activities of the previous edition. This fair will bring together local producers and environmental organizations, offering workshops and tastings of products derived from natural resources.
Cinema and Activities for Everyone
