A large-scale literary event
The literary competition ‘AMIC-Ficcions’ has reached a new record of participation, with a total of 4,705 students from various regions, including Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, Aragon, Andorra and the Valencian Community. In its 17th edition, this competition has become an important reference for young writers.
The Valencian Country stands out with 883 participants
Among the participants, 883 students come from the Valencian Community, representing 51 educational centers. The Guadalaviar School in Valencia has positioned itself as the leader in registrations, with 165 students registered. The province of Valencia has had great success, with 423 students, followed by Castellón with 313, and Alicante with 147.
A platform for literary creativity
The contest is administered through the AMIC-Ficcions website, which serves as a space for creation and interaction. In addition to publishing stories, participants can access news, interviews and additional resources to enrich their literary experience.
Initiatives that inspire
Participants must start their narratives from five selected fragments of recognized works, such as ‘Clixés’ by Carme Karr and ‘Ales de Sang’ by Rebecca Yarros. This methodology encourages creativity and originality among young writers.
The jury and the selection process
A jury of experts in literature and education will be responsible for determining the winners and finalists. Their assessment will be based on the quality of the texts, the narrative coherence and the innovation of the stories. The names of the finalists will be revealed in mid-April, while the awards ceremony will take place in May.
Attractive prizes for everyone
The winners of this edition will be able to enjoy prizes such as iPhones, PlayStations, iPads and e-books, as well as recognition for teachers who have promoted literary motivation. In addition, each territory will reward one participant with a getaway for two people, including dinner and breakfast.
A celebration of youth literature
As the competition progresses, the impact of this initiative on the educational and literary community becomes increasingly evident, fostering a love of writing among young people and creating a space where imagination and creativity can flourish.
