A varied and fun offer for all tastes
The Tirisiti Library in Alcoi is a space dedicated to promoting reading and culture among children and adults. For this reason, every month it organizes two different activities, one for children aged 3 to 6 and another for young people aged 7 to 14. These activities are free and require prior registration, which can be done by calling 965337143 or sending an email to: [email protected].
What are the activities for the month of January?
The first workshop of the month will be on Saturday January 13 and will be aimed at children aged 3 to 6. This is a Kamishibai show, a Japanese technique of telling stories with pictures. The story that will be narrated is ‘La Marieta solitària’, a story about friendship and diversity.
The second workshop of the month will be on Saturday 27 January and will be designed for young people aged 7 to 14. This is an activity related to Peace Day, which is celebrated on January 30. Participants will be able to express their wishes and reflections on peace through different artistic techniques, such as collage, drawing or painting.
How was the Tirisiti Library born?
The Tirisiti Library was one of the most voted initiatives by the citizens of Alcoi in the participatory budgets of 2017. It was inaugurated in 2018, occupying the space that used to be the warehouse of the Cultural Centre. Its purpose is to offer a thematic experience based on diffusion and reading animation, rather than traditional document loan services. For this reason, the room is decorated and equipped with appropriate resources for each age and interest.
