A Revealing Study on Digitization
Recently, Mercats de Tarragona has shared the conclusions of a detailed investigation that analyzes the level of digitization of local businesses. This study, part of the Tarragona Open Shopping Center project, is supported by Next GenerationEU funds from the European Union.
The Importance of Digital Training
With the aim of improving the competitiveness of Tarragona commerce, the need to deepen the digital skills of traders has been identified. The president of Mercats de Tarragona, Montse Adan, has emphasized that the empowerment of professionals is essential to transform the commercial sector, which is increasingly immersed in a digital environment.
Evaluation of the Digital Maturity Level
The study reveals that 42% of businesses are in an initial phase of digital maturity, with 26.3% considered emerging. Only 6.9% of establishments have reached a developed level in terms of digitization, which indicates that there is ample room for improvement.
Training proposals: 34 Online Courses
In order to respond to this training need, a total of thirty-four online courses will be launched, accessible on demand. This initiative seeks to provide traders with essential tools and knowledge to adapt to the new realities of the market.
Content Adapted to Various Levels
The courses will be divided into different levels, allowing each trader to find the program that best suits their needs. From improving your digital presence to crafting personalized strategies, the goal is to achieve meaningful transformation.
A Promising Future for Commerce in Tarragona
With this new training offer, Tarragona is positioning itself as a benchmark in the digital training of local commerce. The willingness of professionals to improve their level of digitization portends a future that is more competitive and adapted to the demands of an increasingly technological society.
