A Unique Experience

French gastronomic culture is truly exceptional. I do not claim that their cuisine is superior to ours, since this debate has a limited meaning, but it is undeniable that the knowledge of national products and foods is more widespread among the general public, which implies a different way of consuming and food .

The Midday Formula

In France, during midday, you can enjoy a simple, cheap and fast gastronomic option, perfect to lightly and effectively satisfy the hunger of those hours. This is the lunch formula, which usually consists of a green dish, such as salad, cream or grilled vegetables, accompanied by a more substantial, but not excessive, dish, such as a quiche, a pancake or some grilled meat . Their lunch menu, similar to ours, includes more elaborate dishes and also desserts.

An Experience in Barcelona

In Barcelona, French restaurants are few and far between, but it is possible to enjoy an experience similar to the one described at the Breton creperie Le Pt’y Món for €14. Located in Passage de Lluís Pellicer, this establishment fills the street with the aroma of its crepes and galettes toasting on a hot griddle.

A Unique Culinary Experience

The menu offers salad with oak leaf, feta cheese, dried tomato, black olive and walnuts; cold tomato and basil cream with mozzarella cubes; hummus with parmesan crunch; and options such as sobrassada galette, honey and crispy onion, steamed spinach galette with egg and crispy bacon or vegan galette with courgette, candied tomatoes and hazelnuts. Desserts include cake, banana chocolate mousse cake or sweet lemon sugar crepe. This unique culinary experience offers a combination of flavors and textures that will not leave any palate indifferent.

An Authentic Tradition

The Breton creperie Le Pt’y Món maintains the Breton tradition, using the word ‘galette’ to refer to the crepe, as it is made with buckwheat flour, tastier, dark and crunchy, and gluten-free. In addition, they offer several Breton ciders to accompany the galettes or, if preferred, a selection of national wines by the glass or bottle.
