On February 4, Igualada became the hub of entrepreneurship with the launch of the fourth edition of La Incubadora, a program designed to guide those who want to make their business ideas a reality. This initiative, managed by the City Council’s Department of Economic Development, seeks to offer complete support to entrepreneurs, facilitating their path to success.
A Selected and Exclusive Process
Of the 13 proposals submitted, only 10 have been chosen to participate in this edition. With these new projects, the total number of start-ups that have gone through La Incubadora rises to 34, demonstrating the City Council’s commitment to promoting local entrepreneurship.
Personalized Accompaniment
Those selected will enjoy an intensive mentoring period that includes training in several key areas such as business plan creation, financial management, marketing strategies and legal aspects. This comprehensive support aims to ensure that each project starts off on the right foot and has the necessary tools to thrive.
Collaboration with Experts
The inaugural event featured the participation of professionals from SecotCat and TICAnoia, two entities that will provide training and mentoring to the selected entrepreneurs. The presentation of a success story, by Cubus Games, served as inspiration for attendees, reinforcing the idea that with dedication and support, business dreams can come true.
Innovative Projects in Progress
Among the projects chosen for this edition are diverse initiatives such as Scrapeando, a platform for craft kits; Shakti Studio, a yoga and pilates center; and Fortune Lenses, an innovative sunglasses project. This wide range of proposals shows the creativity and diversity of entrepreneurship in Igualada.
