The initiative ‘From Valencia to Valencia’ is an altruistic project that joins forces with renowned chefs such as Ricard Camarena, Begoña Rodrigo and Quique Dacosta. The Charity Gala in Tarragona: An Unforgettable Night
Next Friday, December 13, the Castell de Tamarit will host a charity gala starting at 8:30 p.m. With around seventy guests, the event promises to be a unique experience that combines solidarity and gastronomy.
Project Experiences and Expectations
Ricard Camarena shares his experience around the event: ‘I’m excited but also nervous. Every little detail has to be fine-tuned so that everything goes well and the community feels proud of what we’ve achieved.’

After the Tragedy: Reflections and Feelings
Ricard, alongside Begoña and Quique, expresses the feeling of frustration and hopelessness that has gripped many after the recent tragedy. ‘The road to recovery is long, and aid is not arriving as quickly as we need.’
A Dinner for Everyone
In relation to Fran López’s words, Ricard highlights the importance of including everyone in this cause, rejecting elitism and calling for collective solidarity. ‘Every contribution is valuable in times like these.’

The suppliers have been fundamental in this project. ‘From the very beginning, they have been by our side without expecting anything in return. I would especially like to thank Balfegó for their unconditional help in Tarragona.’
Solidarity Beyond Dinner
The initiative has generated a great deal of support, with donations coming in from people who are unable to attend the dinners. ‘We are very grateful for the generosity shown. Our mission is to create a positive impact and honor people who are suffering.’

Ricard concludes with an optimistic message for attendees: ‘The gala will be a wonderful experience. Today is the time to help Valencia, but I am convinced that in the future, we chefs will be here to support any other community that needs it.’
