González Amador, partner of Isabel Díaz Ayuso, files a complaint
MadridAlberto González Amador, partner of Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has filed a complaint against the chief prosecutor of Madrid, Pilar Rodríguez, and the prosecutor of economic crimes, Julián Salto. The reason, the informative note published by the public ministry to deny the president of the Community of Madrid. Ayuso categorically denied her boyfriend’s tax fraud after it was published that the prosecutor’s office in Madrid had denounced him for having hidden an income he obtained as a commission agent on mask contracts during the pandemic in order to pay 350,000 euros less in taxes. As reported by El Español and confirmed by sources from the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJM) at premium.cat, González Amador has filed a complaint for an alleged disclosure of secrets by officials in the public ministry.
The complaint is not accepted for processing
The complaint filed by González Amador has not been accepted for processing. However, other entities are also considering filing a complaint against the public ministry for the same reason. The ICAM (Collège de l’Advocacia de Madrid) has announced that it will file a complaint in the coming days against the unknown author of the events. Unlike González Amador, the ICAM does not point out Rodríguez and Salto, but wants to find out the authorship of the communication that triggered the complaint.
The decision of the ICAM
ICAM’s decision to file a complaint comes after a court of inquiry in Madrid has decided to open preliminary proceedings for the complaint that ICAM filed two weeks ago against the same information note from the prosecutor’s office. The ICAM considers that the prosecution’s communication, which collected specific data from a lawyer’s communications as part of an ongoing compliance process, amounts to a disclosure of secrets and wants to find out who is responsible.
