Míriam Nogueras, the representative of Together in Congress, said that the current agreement with the PSOE on the management of migrant minors is provisional in nature. In a recent conversation with Ser Catalunya, he indicated that his review is possible in a year, depending on the evolution of the socio -economic context.
A Royal Decree that allows adaptations
The agreement includes a modification of the foreign legislation through a royal decree, an option that provides a certain elasticity to make future adjustments. Nogueras said that, if the circumstances are worse, the established criteria will need to be reviewed. “The regulations cannot be rigid in such a dynamic environment,” he added.
Aid for autonomous communities
One of the positive aspects of the spokeswoman is the establishment of a support fund for autonomies that house a large number of migrants and exceed the available places. This is an innovative initiative that, according to Nogueras, will improve the care of migrant minors, guaranteeing more appropriate treatment.
Reactions to criticism
On the other hand, Nogueras addressed the accusations of racism that have been directed to his party by the commons, rejecting them firmly. He insisted that his actions and the Statutes of Together demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and challenged his critics to provide evidence that support his claims.

In relation to the state’s general budgets, Nogueras expressed his concern about the lack of specific proposals by the Spanish government. He said that the dialogue is currently complicated and that significant advances are not expected. “The Government still has many tasks pending,” he said.

Regarding a possible meeting between Carles Puigdemont, the leader of Junts, and President Pedro Sánchez, Nogueras stated that, although it would have been a positive gesture during the passage of amnesty law, he currently did not consider it to have a significant impact or that he solved the existing problems.
